MCG-UGA Medical Partnership professor Maria Teresa Tersigni-Tarrant talks about teaching anatomy and the rudiments of forensic science to students in the classroom and lab. In the second part, she talks about what happens when she arrives on the scene of a crime or unsolved mystery.

Kirk McAlpin

Kirk McAlpin works as a science writer and web designer for Georgia Sea Grant, a program that promotes research, education and outreach on the Georgia Coast. During his second year as an HMJ student he had a science writing graduate assistantship with the UGA Office of Public Affairs. A 2005 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Asheville, Kirk is fluent in Spanish and is also a professional musician.
